Police Training Services
Overview
We at Mowbray Partners are working with UK Police Forces to deliver bespoke digital online training courses, these courses are designed by subject matter experts mainly from within the police community to cover important areas of training not currently provided by the College of Policing. Courses therefore are of a more bespoke/specialist nature where the number of users are typically lower allowing a more flexible business such as Mowbray Partners to cover any gaps in training requirements not currently provided.
The process for developing the training courses could not be simpler. Our experienced developers work closely with the subject matter experts to gather all of your existing materials. This will then be used to produce, and then agree a high level overview of the course to be designed. We will then produce a storyboard which will be reviewed and iterated 3 times before final sign off for the build stage.The client is in control at all stages with the whole process taking around 16 weeks, depending on the availability of the subject matter expert.
Mowbray Partners can work with any individual force to explore a range of affordable funding options and pricing models which suit the individual circumstances.
We are also able to arrange partnerships with forces to ensure that the client can benefit financially through a shared profit arrangement if this is of interest.

Delivery
Police Force staff are given individual access to our choice of Firearms Licensing online courses via our secure platform. Courses can be offered solely or as a package of courses and can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and visited as many times as required to complete the training. Some of these courses include regular tests that need to be passed before moving to the next section and a final exam to ensure that the student has understood the training. Because our platform works as a Learning management System as well, extensive management information can be provided to team leaders and Senior Officers on an agreed basis to ensure the Police Force are getting the correct results from the training. This is a current project.
